Acqua Di Gio Profumo

After the success of the first iteration of Acqua Di Gio, Armani has released many flankers over the years. In 2015 Acqua Di Gio Profumo was launched. It is a deeper variant, with its smoky incense base note to anchor all the other tones.

The top opens up with sea notes and bergamot. At the heart, one finds rosemary, sage and geranium. The base notes include incense and patchouli. The beauty of this cologne is that with a relatively limited number of notes it is able to convey a superior complexity.

Simpler layers give it a more precise opening with bergamot, on to rosemary following and the incense tying everything in at the end. This creates a deeper saltier scent versus a light sea breeze that the original was known for.
