Acqua Di Parma

Acqua Di Parma was started in 1916 with Colonia, their first fragrance that was initially used to scent men's handkerchiefs. By the 1930s it became the symbol of Italian chic. It was loved by many Hollywood celebrities such as David Niven, a man considered to be as gentlemanly as it could possibly get. Others included Cary Grant, Ava Garner, Audrey Hepburn and Eva Turner. The newer generations of fans include Kevin Costner, Sharon Stone and more.

After a bad period, in the 1990s the brand needed to be rekindled and was picked up by three legendary Italians; Diego Della Valle (from Tod's), Luca Cordero Di Montezemolo (from Ferrari) and Paolo Borgomanero (from La Perla). Later the brand was signed on to LVMH, this allowed it to flourish and expand on its product range while still producing its classics.
