The Apple iPad Mini 3 is a third generation iPad Mini, released in October 2014. The iPad Mini 3 features a 7.9 inch screen with a 1536 x 2048 resolution screen (324 ppi density). It runs on an Apple A7 chipset and comes with a dual-core 1.3 GHz ARM processor. The design of the iPad Mini 3 is similar to its previous model (iPad Mini 2), but comes with new features, including Touch ID, larger storage sizes and an additional gold color scheme. The iPad Mini 3 was discontinued and replaced in September 2015 by the iPad Mini 4.
