Armaf Radical

Based out of UAE, Armaf is a brand that produces fragrances for the masses, with prices that are a lot more accessible to more people. The Radical line from Armaf is for men, with two options currently.

Armaf Radical

Radical Blue is a scent that has watermelon, verbena, lavender, basil, ginger, tonka bean, patchouli and cashmeran. This makes for an aquatic opening with florals and spice at the heart, on to the base of a bit more spice and musky notes. This iteration of Radical is a lot lighter in feel with the aquatic notes on top. A version that would be great for daytime wear.

The other version, Radical Brown, is a deeper scent. This has cinnamon, lemon and pepper for the top layer. The middle is made from tobacco, incense, lavender and geranium. This makes for a spicy opening with some freshness to it and a heart that is smokey with aromatics.

At the base of Radical Brown, there is labdanum, cedar amber and vetiver. These are warmer tones, with wood, earthy green, leather and amber as the defining ones. Overall this version of Radical from Armaf is a lot more towards the tones of the Orient. This makes it a great choice for nights out.

The staying power and sillage of the Armaf Radical line is decent, especially given the price.
