Asus is based out of Taiwan and is one of the top laptop makers in the world, number 5 according to sales stats for 2017. The brand develops many different devices, essentially all related to computers and also does some work as an Original Equipment Manufacturer.

With needs being so specialised today Asus has developed many different lines to cater to all kinds of users. Starting at the ZenBook, which is a range of light and ultra-thin laptops for regular usage that are easier to carry. The ZenBook housing is sturdy so it won't break at the first instance. The VivoBook series is similar but with a slight difference in design and price. A more accessible range for someone who wants a good laptop but doesn't want to spend a lot.

The ROG and TUF lines by Asus are the high-performance machines designed for gamers. ROG and TUF laptops have a different form factor making them look more intimidating, a good feel for the digital warfare they are intended for. Another line of powerful laptops from Asus is the ProArt StudioBook series, which is developed for designers, photographers and artists in general.

Asus has also made Chromebooks, which are great for younger students and people who need a laptop for simple tasks. TransformerBook are the 2-in-1s that are becoming common today, a laptop that can function as a tablet as well. Aside from all this Asus has laptops that are under the brand name alone and are designed for commercial users, making it easier for businesses to have more reliable laptops.

Within each line there is a simple version and then a powerful laptop that has high-end components that are there to cater for power users. Asus laptops are generally expensive products, given the brands quality and reputation.
