One of America's most well-known fashion houses, Calvin Klein is at a similar level as a lot of the top European brands. After the success of Eternity for Women that was released in 1988, Calvin Klein released Eternity for Men in 1990 with Carlos Benaim as the nose behind this scent. This cologne would be thought of as aromatic and Fougere, the latter refers to green notes.

The top opens up with lavender, lemon, bergamot and mandarin orange. This creates a very fresh start to the scent with a hint of floral spice from lavender. This goes on to the heart notes that consist of juniper berries, sage, coriander, geranium, basil, jasmine, orange blossom, lily and lily of the valley. This is for the most part a floral aromatic collection of notes, with some spice from coriander and basil.

All this leads to the base that has sandalwood, vetiver, musk, Brazilian rosewood and amber. These make a warmer space for all the florals to exist in but are not the champions of this cologne. Calvin Klein Eternity for Men is still largely about the aromatics and green feels.

Eternity for Men can be a bit too saccharine for people, but a lot still do like it. It is often thought of as a spring, summer or daytime scent; one could however wear it whenever they want.
