Canon Eos 77d

Display & Sensor

Tagging slightly behind Canon EOS 80D, the EOS 77D features a 24-megapixel APS C Sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, instead of Hybrid CMOS AF III. This is claimed to be the world's fastest AF focusing speed of 0.03 second. The camera's display is a 3 inch Clear View II colour TFT vari-angle LCD touchscreen with 1,040,000 dots.

Battery

The 77D has an LPE 17 battery, that was the newest in the lineup in 2017 when the EOS 77D was launched. The battery has good stamina, giving you 600 shots using your optical viewfinder and if you shift to LCD, it may give you up to 270 shots.

Performance

The Canon EOS 77D uses the powerful DIGIC 7 processor that gives an ISO of 25600 in the auto ISO mode and you can extend it up to 51200. In JPEG image format, you can shoot high-speed continuous images up to 190 shots and 23 images in RAW format.

Autofocus System

It has become a legacy for Canon to include the Dual Pixel CMOS AF in all of its cameras as it is fast, convenient and super easy to shoot fantastic imagery with just a touch of a finger. Advanced users and professional can use their favourite option of setting the back focus in the EOS 77D by going into the settings.

Digital Image Stabilization

The EOS 77D provides digital image stabilization that is pretty easy to set up in your custom function settings, and if you are using a lens that has optical stabilization you can enhance the camera's stabilization capabilities even further.

Time-Lapse Videos

EOS 77D has an Interval timer for shooting time-lapse videos, which is built into the camera, eliminating the need of purchasing an app.

WIFI Connectivity

You can share your images right away on social media or send to your friends and family with the Canon EOS 77D as it comes with wireless connectivity options like WIFI and Bluetooth. You can control the EOS 77D wirelessly by downloading the Canon Camera Connect app on your wireless devices like smartphone or tablet. This way you can have full access to the camera's files, settings and shooting options through your smart devices.
