Canon EOS 7D showcases a 3-inch Clear View II LCD screen with 640 × 480 (921,600 dots) resolution, which comes with an Anti-reflection and Solid Structure coating. The clever Viewfinder offers 1.0x magnification and 100% coverage. The camera also possesses an excellent Dual Axis Electronic Level and tilt display that allows for perfect level shots.

Performance

The Canon EOS 7D comes with an 18 Megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 Image Processors, capable of capturing astounding images at up to ISO 12800 and speeds of up to 8.0 frames per second of continuous shooting. The shutter durability is up to 150,000 cycles and allows for speeds of up to 1/8000 sec, with a flash sync speed of 1/250 sec. EOS 7D features a wide range of ISO settings that allow for fine-detailed shooting from dawn through dusk, regardless of the lighting condition. The camera is capable of shooting Full HD 1920 x 1080 videos at the rate of 30 frames per second, 24p or 25p frames per second, for up to 4GB per clip. 

Autofocus System

With an all cross-type 19-point AF system, the EOS 7D features an improved AI Servo AF subject tracking and user-selectable AF area selection modes for sharp focus in all lighting situations. It allows for 1080p HD video recording with manual controls including manual exposure during video shooting and ISO speed selection.

Weather Sealing

The camera sports a magnesium alloy body that is weather and dust-resistant. The camera is compatible with over 60 EF and EF-S lenses as well as with EOS System accessories. Canon EOS 7D comes with the options of in-camera raw image editing, Image Rating and resizing as well as faster scrolling of magnified images and quick control screen during playback.
