Cartier Bracelet

Called the "the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers." by King Edward VII of Britain, Cartier is one of the most revered jewellery brands and is also in the top 100 most valuable brands in the world. Established in 1847 in Paris, Cartier has provided jewellery to many royals; including the Maharaja of Patiala in India. Today Cartier is owned by the Swiss luxury brand holding company Richemont.

Design Inspiration

As far as jewellery goes, Cartier is probably one of the top 3 brands if not the number one brand. Their designs are some of the best available. They have simple chain bracelets that are very minimal and elegant. They take design inspiration from flora and fauna motifs. Their hit collection known as Panthere has designs based on the big cat of its namesake & are considered especially beautiful.

Innovative Collections

The Trinity line has 3 bands that are interlocked, each is made from a different material. One is silver, one gold and the third is in rose gold. This bracelet was also a singular hit from the brand and is instantly recognizable. There is a line inspired by the industrial feel that is basically a circular screw that has movable bolts on it. Another line known as Clash De Cartier has a range of jagged, seemingly toothed bracelets. Cartier's Love bracelet is also famous, a clean band that has screw heads embossed into it.

The Cartier bracelet has been made from several precious metals and a variety of precious stones. Some designs are purposefully kept complex using multiple metals & a range of different stones to create multiple layers creating a beautiful piece.

The price of Cartier bracelets is very high, even the starting point would be considered expensive by most standards. The top end has bracelets that are worth as much as a house. High prices do speak for the quality as Cartier jewellery has been passed down for generations.
