Cartier Oud Perfumes

A luxury brand almost at the top of the pyramid, Cartier is among the best brands in the world. It is considered to be the most prestigious jewellery manufacturer in the world, King Edward VII of Great Britain referred to Cartier as "the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers.". The house has had Royal Warrants from various royal families over the years.

Other than jewellery, Cartier also produces watches, bags and fragrances. The fragrances from the brand are also some of the best available. The Cartier Oud options are all unisex.

Cartier Oud Perfumes

Oud is probably the defining tone of the oriental notes, it comes from agarwood and is an expensive ingredient. The collection goes by Les Heures Voyageuses; there are multiple options with oud being the dominant note. Launched in 2014 with inspiration from the Orient, this collection comes in beautiful flacons. The initial three were Oud & Oud, Oud & Rose and Oud & Musc.

Oud & Oud is made from oud and is an intense woody, sweet aroma that is intoxicating. Oud & Rose is made from only oud and rose, complimenting each other in strength. With Oud & Musc, the notes are oud and musk; this makes for an added layer of warmth from musk along with the deep oud scent. 2015 saw Oud Radieux, a fragrance made from oud, ginger and Sichuan pepper. This mix makes for a very spicy freshness added into the oud depth. 

More iterations in this line have been launched, all are from the nose of Mathilde Laurent who works in-house at Cartier. All of them champion oud and have a few other tones to add a bit of layering.

The Cartier Oud perfumes are ideal for any time, they are very rich and have an opulent sensation.

This line of fragrances from Cartier is super expensive, that too when it comes in 75ml flacons. The flacons themselves are well made enough to be a keepsake.
