Corn flakes are considered to be the first kind of cereal that was ever produced, it was created by Kellogg's a brand that is known for its large range of cereals. Over time the range of cereals has grown by a lot, with many brands coming around.

Some cereals such as muesli are healthier options as they are made from whole grain, nuts and other ingredients that are nutritious. These are great with milk but can also be had with some fruit, honey and yoghurt. A lot of the cereals are also sweet and have sugar in large quantities, these are generally avoided by people who are trying to eat healthily.

A lot of people like their cereal just the right amount of soaked before having it, the timing is crucial as a little while after that it gets too soggy and the texture is ruined.
