Davidoff the brand

A Swiss brand started by Zino Davidoff, it was originally in the tobacco market and produced premium cigars. In later years the brand established another wing that produced other items such as ties, watches, fragrances, coffee, cognac, fashion accessories, leather goods and writing instruments.

The first fragrance was launched in 1984.

The first scent from Davidoff that put them on the map was Davidoff Cool Water for men which was released in 1988. Later in 1996 Cool Water for women was also put into the market and was widely successful as well.

The women's segment has many other successes too, including Davidoff Echo Woman, Davidoff Cool Water Sea Rose, Davidoff Leather Blend, Davidoff Amber Blend and Davidoff Cool Water Wave.

Zino Davidoff was known as a sophisticated gentleman, an avid traveller who travelled all over for inspiration and was always looking for ways to improve on the brands quality.
