Launched in 2008, the Dawn frozen foods segment was created in response to a growing trend regarding the consumption of frozen foods in Pakistan. These products are either ready to eat or ready to cook, with the amount of cooking being minimal. This makes it possible to easily prepare these foods.

The Dawn frozen foods variety

Covering a wide range, the Dawn collection has various parathas such as whole wheat paratha, regular paratha, chicken paratha and aloo paratha. Dawn also makes roti that one can prepare in a jiffy.

There are aloo, Punjabi, vegetable or chicken samosas, as well as an option for chicken spring rolls. The brand also has nuggets in the mix, with there either being chicken cheese or plain chicken nuggets. In the BBQ variety, there is chicken malai botti, chicken seekh kababs and chicken Bihari kababs. There are options for chicken chapli kabab and shami kababs as well.

Similar to the KFC range there are chicken shots and a burger patty that is like the Zinger patty called the chicken crispy fillet. Even a regular chicken patty can be purchased from the Dawn frozen foods range. Aside from all this the brand also produces koftas.

These items are all available in different pack sizes, one can choose based on what number of people they need to feed or even to stock up food for the future, in case.

Some people tend to avoid frozen foods due to the quality of produce that these are made from. This would classify as junk food as brands such as KFC and McDonald's use similar methods to make their food.
