The Latitude line is geared for business users and is also an easier range to purchase if an office needs more laptops as it is comparatively more affordable.

The Latitude E6430

A laptop released in 2012, the Latitude E6430 is another one from the Dell line housing work laptops.  Weighing in at 3.87 Kgs, the laptop comes with Windows 7 as the OS. The screen size is 14 inches with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels, making it HD ready. Just a little below the Full HD benchmark.

The processor powering this machine is the Intel Core i5 3rd Gen 3210M, which clocks a speed of 2.5GHz. With RAM of 4GB to handle all the computers tasks. The Latitude E6430 has a 320GB hard drive, in the older format of hard drives before SSDs. 

Connectivity

The Latitude E6430 connects to WiFi and Bluetooth. It also has a DVD burner. With 3 USB ports, 1 of which is the older version and 2 that are USB-3 the slightly more high powered port. A VGA and HDMI port for connecting to monitors or projectors. For a more stable or faster internet connection, there is also the option to jack in a LAN cable. The Dell Latitude E6430 comes with a card reader as well as a smartcard slot.

Comments

The Dell Latitude E6430 is a good machine for office work, but more regular tasks instead of the specialized jobs that require powerful machines. Available at a lower price point given the year of release. There may be possible differences in specs, depending on the specific Latitude E6430 in question.
