Dunhill caters to men more, with a lot of accessories clothes and fragrances as well. The fragrance range has multiple successful lines, none more than the Dunhill Desire family though.

Over time there have been a lot of other great colognes such as Dunhill Icon Elite. It could be called a dark oriental fragrance that has a deep timbre.

The opening, head notes, are lighter but also have some spice and a warmer waft with cardamom. The rest of the opening notes are bergamot, bitter orange and lime. This does give it a bit of a smooth cutting to start with, a fresh blast if you will.

At the heart one finds vetiver, black pepper, blue sage and juniper; these combined add some smokiness, spice, savoury and green to the whole. Some hint of spice even comes from blue sage, which adds to the black pepper. To ground all this into a lot more fullness, depth and wood notes the base has ebony, suede, labdanum and sandalwood.

Ebony wood is specifically used to add a darker tone to scents. Labdanum also has a deep scent with strong leather and amber tones. These combined with suede and sandalwood make for a very rich base.

All of these tones combined make for a complex concoction that is great for the night, to go with the deeper shades of night colours. People also associate it strongly with the winter season but with autumn and spring too. One can of course wear it during the day as well if they choose to.

The price of Dunhill Icon Elite is just above a more affordable range, meaning it is still somewhat accessible in comparison.
