Edifier the brand

Based out of China, Edifier was started in 1996. Producing speakers and headphones of various kinds over the years, Edifier is one of the go-to brands when it comes to computer multimedia speakers. The quality of their range has improved a lot and now they have some slightly high-end audio solutions as well.

Edifier speakers

The various options include portable speakers, bookshelf speakers, soundbars, 2.1 speaker systems and 5.1 speaker systems. There are also options for simple USB speakers.

The features vary as do the designs, this is one of the brands that has a lot of different designs for their products. Some are simple while others are very futuristic. The colours are mostly black but one can also find red and white options. The soundbars by them also have a subwoofer along, which is rarely the case with other brands.

Connectivity options vary but Bluetooth is a common method as is the 3.5mm audio jack. The 5.1 systems can be used to make a home theatre so the sound is true surround sound.

This segment has fewer options but they are still ample for a user to find something they are looking for. There are options which are made for gamers so they have the mini-boom mic for talking to your teammates and opponents.

The other options are earphones with cables or the band based wireless earphones. There are also over-ear headphones with wired and wireless options as well.
