Brought to customers by Abbott, the pharmaceutical brand that is also responsible for PediaSure. Ensure is a nutritional powder that one can mix with milk or water and drink. One serving of the powder that is 8-fl-oz has 250 calories, 9 grams of protein and 25 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. This makes it a proper snack if not a full meal.

This can be used to substitute one's meal in a hurry or it can also be used as a great way to supplement one's nutrition. Ensure is gluten-free and with water, it can also be drunk by people who are lactose intolerant. 

The formula is mixed keeping in mind a 2000 calorie daily diet, this helps balance out all the vitamins and minerals in a more broad way.

Some people like to avoid Ensure milk powder for more organic alternatives for supplementation, as this contains sugars and refined carbs.

Ensure milk is available in different flavours, including vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. The price of this product is relatively high-end in Pakistan. Ensure milk powder is available in 400gm containers or in 850gm containers.

Ensure is commonly used by elders to help them with arthritis which happens due to an imbalance in their diet. Given the Pakistani diet is not very health conscious.
