Gentleman is a woody fragrance that has aromatics and Fougere feels mixed into it. The top layer is made from pear, cardamom and pineapple. This gives the opening a fruity sweetness and a dash of resinous spice.

For the heart notes, there is iris, lavender and geranium. A layer that provides wood, green and powder as well; apart from the aromatics. At the base, we find leather for a musky tone, black vanilla husk for its treacle and boozy tone, with patchouli to complete the base. The patchouli adds an earthy musk along with a hint of spice.

Overall this layering makes for a very complex olfactory experience. Granted the nature of this cologne, it is versatile and can be worn at any time one wants, or during any season. The sillage and longevity are both moderate, making this ideal for daily wear so one is not overwhelming the people around them.
