Another brand that began as an equestrian leather goods maker, which is why their logo still retains a horse and the Duc carriage. Hermes has been in the business since 1837. Over the years their brand moved into the fashion industry and added many products to their range. Today Hermes produces fragrances, clothes, leather accessories, footwear, tableware and much more. The Birkin and the Kelly, both bags are considered to be icons in fashion.

Hermes Perfumes

The fashion house moved into fragrances in 1951 with their Eau d’Hermès, composed by Edmond Roudnitska. The first women's perfume was introduced ten years later by the name Calèche. This cemented their new direction into the fragrance market.

There are many different fragrances from the brand that have done well over the years. For women these inlcude Kelly Caleche, Twilly D'hermes, 24 Faubourg, Un Jardin Sur Le Nil and L’ambre Des Merveilles. The favourites for men include Terre d’Hermes, Rocabar, Un Jardin En Mediterranee and Concentre d’Orange Verte. Among their collection are many fragrances that can be worn by men and women both.

Hermes perfumes are known for being deep, complex concoctions. There is a heavy sillage and with a lot of them being on the musky side as well, even if they are a more summery or daytime blend. As with other high-end brands, the ingredients are all-natural which makes for a better quality of scent.
