A brand owned by Huawei as part of the Huawei Consumer Business Group's dual-brand strategy. Designed for a younger generation, with more colours and style. With selling of Honor mobiles happening mostly from an online platform and working with a select number of vendors on the ground. The fact that a lot of selling happens online helps the brand save costs on their logistics which means they can reduce the cost of their product as well.

Honor's mobile variety

The lines are mostly given alphabets for their names. These include A, X, S, C, V and I. The other two lines are Play and Lite. Some Honor mobiles are released under the main name along with a digit as the model number. With all the lines the higher the number the newer the release. The variations between these lines are quite a bit. From the cameras to the RAM, chips and storage.

The flagship models from Honor are quite powerful and are still priced competitively. The more high-end models appear in the Lite, C and plain Honor lines. The other lines cater to budget buyers more, people who want all the usual amenities but do not want to spend too much on a mobile.

The physical design of Honor mobiles is modern with many colourful options as well. The backs are mostly hue-shifting glass on which light plays. These are also in line with catering to the Millenial generation that has a massive smartphone user base.

The processor chipset Honor makes use of is the Kirin line which is developed by Huawei. Their smartphones are also based on the Android system, with a proprietary UI.
