A little about HP 

HP started in the 1930s with minicomputers, the brand has developed a lot over the years. Today there are multiple lines and a lot of these lines have Notebooks available in them.

What is a Notebook

A machine which is made a little more compact than a regular laptop is known as a notebook. This is a loose definition and in often interchangeable with 'laptop'. Many of the laptop models have notebook mentioned in them.

A machine that is 15 inches or under is classified as a notebook.

The various HP laptop lines

HPs most high-end machines are under the Spectre line. This is a range of premium machines with top components and also is the line where a lot of the latest features can be found. Just below this is the Envy line, these are similar but have a different body that costs a little less. The Envy line also has regular hard drives instead of SSDs, which save a chunk on cost.

The Pavillion series is for a larger consumer base and gives a good price to power ratio. The designs are not as slick and the body is also made from lower grade materials to save on cost. This series has more colourful options as well, letting one personalise their feel.

Omen is the gaming series, these are again made with high-end materials and have the latest components. A dedicated graphics card with its own RAM is common in these, this takes on a lot of the load leaving the CPU to run better.

For designers and architects to work on there is the ZBook line, these have powerful specs as the softwares are heavy. For businesses, there is the EliteBook line which has very durable bodies and has more security options to keep sensitive data safe.

The brand has maintained their quality over the years, with many HP notebooks rated as some of the best available options on blogs and other websites.

The price of an HP notebook depends on the line it is from and its specs. Generally, the prices are on the higher side.
