Apart from being an eye candy, the elegant looking laptop comes with 12-hour long battery life. It is packed with strong performance and the powerful speakers make it the best pick. 

Efficient Cooling System

The efficient cooling allows the CPUs to run at their full speed, without being underclocked.

Display 

HP Spectre comes with a 13-inch, 1,920x1,080 display. Sporting an IPS display, the laptop looks great even from extreme side angles and the thin lid has a Gorilla Glass top layer over the display. HP Spectre gives a decent Full HD display but watching 4K at this size and battery gets pretty exhausting.

Design

Apart from being thin and lightweight, the Spectre laptops also sport beautiful designs and bold colour schemes that make them stand out in the ocean of thin ultraportables. HP has ditched the usual silver colour for a deeper smokey grey that has gold accents. The jewel-toned bright gold hinge gives a very regal look to the laptops and certainly draws more attention. These laptops feature a body made out of a mix of materials such as the hinge and laptop lid are made out of aluminium and the bottom panel is made out of carbon fibre. HP used a mix of materials to give the laptops the right amount of balance between weight and robustness. 

RAM & Platform

Powered by a 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-6500U CPU and 128MB Intel HD Graphics 520, the Spectre laptops run on Windows 10 Home (64-bit) operating system. RAM on the laptops is 8GB and the storage capacity is up to 256GB. 

Connectivity Ports

The three USB-C ports at the back are capable of carrying data or power. The two centre USB -C ports act as Thunderbolt ports for high-speed data transfer.
