The phone features a wide notch at the front. Enclosed in a glossy metal body with an enchanting glass back the phone weighs a light 169 grams. Its display is a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 409 ppi pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 82.03 %. 

Performance & Platform

The Huawei Nova 3i uses the Huawei’s GPU Turbo Technology for a good gaming experience. This smartphone runs on Android v8.1 (Oreo) operating system and is powered by an Octa-core processor. The Huawei Nova 3i uses the HiSilicon Kirin 710 Chipset which lags behind rivalling smartphones that use Snapdragon 660 or more powerful Qualcomm chipsets. Nova 3i is reported to get overheating issues after a gaming session.

Cameras

Front of the phone houses 24 MP + 2 MP Dual Front shooters and on the rear, there are two 16 MP + 2 MP snappers with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Smile detection, Touch to focus. Huawei Nova 3i cameras deliver good results but the night time photography could've been better.

Nova 3i has a 4 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage that is extendable up to 256GB via microSD. It is powered by a 3340 mAh battery that supports fast charging. The Huawei Nova 3i offers Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). Nova 3i's battery has been slightly downgraded from the Nova 3 but gives good mileage.
