Released on March 26, 2019, alongside the more powerful and groundbreaking Huawei P30 Pro, the P30 is set to revolutionize the way the world uses and takes photos from their smartphones. It stands out from other phones for its wide range of colourful gradient designs: Amber Sunrise (orange), Breathing Crystal (pale blue), Aurora (vivid blue), as well as standard black and white models.

Design & Display

Huawei P30 is a mid-sized phone with an edge-to-edge 6.1-inch OLED display that takes up the entire frontage of the device. With a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080, P30 supports Full HD+, providing a greater brightness range and more vivid colours.

Cameras

There is a ‘teardrop’ notch at the top that houses the 32 MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies. The main camera on the rear is a 40-megapixel wide-angle beast known as the Super Spectrum shooter. It is capable of seeing RYYB (red, yellow, yellow, blue) light instead of the typical RGB (red, green, blue), which makes it proficient of capturing a wider range of colours for rich and detailed images. It also enhances the camera's performance in low-light conditions. The phone rocks an additional 16MP ultra-wide camera and a third 8MP telephoto camera, that is capable of much sharper autofocus as well as 30x optical zoom, bringing distant subjects up and close!

The company has only released one mode of P30 which comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
