Huawei's logical step towards smartwatches

With a new wave in wearable tech Huawei is also staying up with the times being one of the largest smartphone producers of the world. They have a range of smartwatches that have many functions to aid your health or just to help ease of access to your incoming messages and calls, so you don't always have to pull out your phone whenever it buzzes.

The different smartwatches and features by Huawei

Since they entered this segment of the market they have been adding new models with features that are also original to Huawei, like on the Huawei Band series where the screen bit pops out and can be used as an in-ear hands-free device. Which is a very innovative idea. Although this does add a bit of bulk but that's a small tradeoff. The other features include all the health-related information like heart rate and how many steps you are clocking in. Also, sleep trackers that let you know what level of sleep you were in over the course of a night so you know when you had good deep sleep and when it was kind of restless. These smartwatches also have the ability to set milestones regarding health so you are being physically proactive as well.

There are Huawei smartwatches have the classic watch look with a bezel, the brushed finish and a nice comfortable strap. There are sporty looks and some which are designed for women as well, covering a variety of aesthetics. Making use of OLED and AMOLED screens so the quality is crisp and easy to read on something that scale. With Gorilla Glass so your smartwatch doesn't shatter its face in case it drops from your hand or takes a hit while you fall with it on. Including a phone locator is smart, which makes your phone beep even if it is on silent mode as long as you are connected to it through Bluetooth and are in range.

Given how some of them are built one would imagine a Huawei smartwatch is all you need to stay in touch, with space for an eSIM and 4GB space. The SIM allows for you to connect to 4G and essentially use this smartwatch to make calls, send messages and stream music. Coming with NFC, it supports a few payment systems – Huawei and Ali Pay, plus the WeChat system. Essentially making this an all in one device that can be used in multiple ways outside of the sphere of being connected to a smartphone. Slowly improving on the battery time, Huawei claims some of their smartwatches last 2 weeks with only the basic functions in use.
