Huawei Y5 2019 showcases a 5.71" Dewdrop display, with a narrow bezel, a wide 84.6% screen-to-body ratio and a narrow notch shaped screen. The faux leather finish on the phone is anti-fingerprint, wear-resistant and anti-dirt. Colour options to choose from are Midnight Black, Modern Black, Sapphire Blue and Amber Brown. It supports dual 4G as well as dual VoLTE for effortless connectivity. 

Performance, Platform & RAM

It is disappointing to see that the phone uses a quad-core processor that is only 2GHz. This is paired with a meagre 2GB of RAM. However, the EMUI 9.0, based on Android 9 is integrated with system speed enhancements and an intelligent Phone Manager for a glitch and lag-free experience. The Huawei Y5 2019 is equipped with a smarter and efficient 12nm chipset, hence allowing for convenient and easy multitasking. 

Cameras

The rear houses a single 13 MP camera with a large aperture of f/1.8, ensuring to light up your pictures and videos with 50% more light and with more clarity and sharper detail. The front 5 MP camera features a selfie toning flash that will enhance and bring out sharper details on your face to look its best. The Smart Beauty feature on the selfie camera ensures stunning selfies with natural-looking results.

Storage & Battery

It packs an internal storage of 32 GB and a large 3020 mAh battery with an intelligent power-saving technology to provide you ample time for entertainment and gaming. You can get up to 16 hours of video playback, 74 hours of music-listening and up to 10 hours of 4G internet browsing on this device.

Using an intelligent face mapping system and 1024 facial features points, the Huawei Y5 2019 will automatically recognise you once you lift it up to your face, allowing you to unlock your device in seconds, even in the lowest of lighting.
