Hugo Boss was started in 1924 by Hugo Ferdinand Boss. A brand that used to supply uniforms to the Nazi's, for which it was heavily fined after WWII. The brand survived the fine and was able to continue as a lifestyle and fashion brand. The business started growing a lot more by the time his grandsons took over, Uwe and Jochen Holy. By the 60s Hugo Boss suits were considered as some of the best available, known for their European stylization.
