Launched in the fourth quarter of 2017 the Intel Core i3 8100 comes with four cores and 6MB of cache memory. This processor has a clock speed of 3.6GHz and is apt for everyday computing. This 8th Gen Core i3 is built using the Coffee Lake architecture and was made using the 14nm lithography method.
The Core i3 8100 is compatible with motherboards that have an LGA 1151 socket and an Intel 300-series chipset. The CPU can then provide up to sixteen PCIe 3.0 lanes for graphics cards, NVMe storage and other high-performance components.
This processor is integrated with a UHD Graphics 630 chipset that can put out 4K visuals through the DisplayPort or HDMI port. Also supporting DDR4 2400 MHz memory modules and running in dual or single channel configuration.
