Kolson Slanty

Owned by the Lotte Confectionery Company located in South Korean. The conglomerate has a partnership with Kolson (K.S. Sulemanji Esmailji & sons (Pvt.) Ltd.) that is locally established in Pakistan since 1942. Kolson has been creating high-quality premium snacks, biscuits, cakes and pasta.

Slanty is their flagship brand that has a unique shape for each individual chip that has not been introduced in Pakistan until now. The quality, texture and taste were all very new to Pakistani taste buds. Slanty has won the Super Brand Award in 2008 making it a majorly successfully chips brand in Pakistan. 

The exciting unique flavours include the Kolson Slanty Plain Salted that is ideal for young kids and toddlers as it quickly melts in your mouth and is not spicy. Another mild flavour is the Kolson Slanty Vegetable that uses fresh flavours that are seasoned with salt. The Kolson Slanty Japaleno is popular among older kids that prefer to have some spicy kick to the flavour without it being too hot.

The Kolson Slanty Ketchup and Kolson Slanty Hot Masala are a Pakistani favourite as these have a mild spicey level that is enjoyable for older kids and teenagers. The Kolson Slanty Lemon is mild but not without a tangy aftertaste that is ideal for summer and spring weather. The Kolson Slanty Chillie and Salsa is inspired by Mexican food and seasoning that is a great party snack for kids. These chips can be served as a side to sandwiches and burgers for birthday parties and kiddie lunches.  

The core ingredients of Slanty Chips are Potato Starch, Potato Flakes, Vegetable Oil, Salt, Flavour Enhancer that are all 100% Halal. Depending on the flavour there can be Garlic Powder, Spices, Citric Acid, Sodium and Permitted Food Colors to create a distinct flavour.
