Collections

Over the years, the brand has expanded its presence by entering into the international market and opening a franchise in London, UK. With stores in Karachi and Lahore and an international presence, Lajwanti will soon be in all the major cities in Pakistan. The brand has expanded its product line and is not just a bridal couture manufacturer anymore.

Today, it has added Pret wear for both men and women and has also installed a weaving unit to weave silk in the vintage traditional Pakistani way, known as Khadi, which is a handwoven fabric. The brand also manufactures custom made fabrics through their own power looms unit for its customers. It houses formal, semi-formal, pret and bridal collections. Each range showcases the signature Lajwanti style that has its main focus on excellent workmanship, design novelty and timeless looks.

Luxury Pret Wear & Formals

For women, Lajwanti designs luxury pret wear that uses formal fabrics like velvet, chiffon, organza etc to create luxury Kaftans, long maxis and shirts. The formal collection has dresses made out of sophisticated and luxurious fabrics such as silk, chiffon, tissue, organza, net jamawar etc.

Ensembles in this collection include heavily embellished shirts with silk linings, gold finishings and with traditional Pakistani embroideries such as adda work, resham, hammer work, mukesh, pearls, kora dabka etc. The shirts are paired with heavily worked boot cut trousers, ghararas, capris etc that are adorned with embellished borders and gold finishings. These are paired with tissue, net or chiffon dupattas with mukesh work and golden finishings. 

Bridal Couture

Lajwanti bridal wear comes in 6 collections called Nur, Rivaaj, Majestic Attire, Grandeur, Eblouissant and Autumn Brides. The most interesting out of these is the Autumn Brides collection as the ensembles in this range use soft, pastel colours and the stunning autumn hues.

Traditional lehenga saris, peplum tops paired with flared ghararas, anarkali style shirts, the attires are curated with utmost attention to detail. The designers use traditional embroidery techniques like gotta, naqshi, paisley motives, cut dana, sequins, dabka, kora, mukesh, resham etc for these heavily worked bridal apparels. Paired with elaborately embellished dupattas adorned with magnificent tassels and fine finishing, the dresses are crafted with immense care and attention to minutest of detail. 

Groom Couture

Using tasteful colours and formal fabrics, the brand curates wedding sherwanis, jodhpuri jackets, suits, shawls and turbans for grooms-to-be. Sherwanis come heavily worked with dabka, rhinestones, kora, resham and antique work with embellished buttons. Sherwanis are paired with boski suits, embellished shawls, matching turban and a pair of khussas to complete the entire look.
