The peripheral market has some well-known names of which Logitech is one. Logitech also owns a few other brands which make electronics, these include Astro Gaming, Jaybird and Blue; the makers of the Yeti and Snowball microphones.

The brand produces a whole range of devices from mics to speakers to webcams and more.

The Logitech C920

A webcam with a crisp Full HD video quality at 1080p, with a frame rate of 30fps. The lens is glass so that also helps the quality of video being shot. The lens also creates a wide field of view, covering 78 degrees. There are dual mics for a clear stereo sound that is useful for video calls with multiple people on this end. 

One could choose to have the video at 720p with a 30fps rate as well, in case the internet isn't powerful enough to handle the heavier stream load of Full HD. The software along is also useful for some basic editing, including transitions, text overlay, customise the webcam settings so you can create a content video even.

The Logitech C920 is also equipped with the Logitech RightLight technology that adjusts the lighting to create bright, high contrast images even if you are in a dim space.

Logitech's C920 is compatible with multiple OSes and needs a USB type-A port to function. The cable is long so one can place the webcam rather in case. 

A well-performing device that is available from a mid-range price point.
