Designed with gamers in mind the G430 headset from Logitech has spatial audio abilities to help you be more immersed. The 7.1 surround sound makes for a great 3D sonic space where you can better pinpoint the approach of your enemy. There is support for both Dolby Headphone and DTS Headphone:X surround sound modes which are powered by the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS). Frequency response is from 20Hz-20KHz produced by the 40mm drivers.

There is an adjustable noise-cancelling mic that can clearly pick up your voice so you can communicate with your team clearly to strategise or warn them. It picks up 100Hz-20KHz frequencies.

The design is modern with edgy lines, keeping in tune with other gaming peripherals. The construction is lightweight so one is not bogged by the weight and the earcups have breathable material so there is some ease over longer usage. The material for the earcups on the Logitech G430 is sports-performance cloth, which is why it is better breathing. These earcups can also be removed and washed so the headphones are kept clean. The earcups even rotate so you can flatten the headset out for easier packing.

For volume control or to quickly switch the mic off, there is an in-line controller.
