The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus is a mid-step from Microsoft, it is ahead of the Surface Pro, but shy of what the Surface Pro 8 is. This was designed for enterprise and education markets; giving it ample juice for most users across the board.

The processors in this have various options, all from Intel. There is the Core i3, Core i5 or a Core i7. Graphics processors are also from Intel, with the basic one the Intel UHD and the better option being the Intel Iris Xe which has two versions available.

Compared to the Pro 7, the Pro 7 Plus has more RAM available, the base is 8GB, then on to 16GB and the high end is 32GB. Storage goes from 128GB up to 1TB and the SSD is removable so it can be changed in case one needs to do that. 

The display on this device is great, it is a PixelSense display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 which is FHD. With the 12.3 inch display, the pixel density comes to 267ppi, making for a highly detailed display. Users get two cameras, one on the front and one on the rear, this lets you take pictures and answer your video calls.

WiFi and Bluetooth are available for your wireless needs and there is also LTE so one is connected to the internet even when mobile. You could be sitting in a car and getting your work done. For physical connectivity one has a USB-C, a USB-A, a headphone/mic jack, a Surface Connect port and a card reader. The Surface Dial is also compatible but only off-screen.

Battery time is an important consideration for portable devices and the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus delivers. With the WiFi, one gets roughly 15 hours and running on LTE connectivity one gets around 13 hours.

This device is not made for heavy work but it can cope, this is more so for the higher-end specs. You could get serious work done on it if needed. With the Surface Pen it is also a great device for artists to use for their illustrations.
