Microsoft Surface Pro X

Microsoft Surface machines are generally considered to be good, with a sturdy build and ample performance within a portable size and weight. The Microsoft Surface Pro X is from late 2019 and comes with a 13-inch display that supports PixelSense.

The design is simple and minimal as is the theme of the era when it comes to electronics. One can choose between Matte Black or Platinum for the body finish.

The resolution of the display is 2880x1920p, making for super-clear visuals. This allows one to enjoy their streaming but also get clarity for their work. With a display like this, it is super fun to draw on with the Surface Pen, which is why this device is a good option for designers and artists.

Powering the graphics is the Adreno 685 or the Adreno 690, depending on the exact variant you choose. The main processor also has two options, these are both native Microsoft chips that were co-developed with Qualcomm. One can choose between Microsoft SQ1 or SQ2, the latter being more powerful.

RAM options for the SQ1 variant are 8 or 16GB, with the SQ2 Surface Pro X one gets only 16GB. With SQ1 storage can be 128, 256 or 512GB and SQ2 has either 256 or 512GB.

Aside from the internals, one gets two cameras, one is a 5MP one on the front and a 10MP one on the rear. These combined with the stereo speakers that feature Dolby Audio along with the dual far-field mics allow one to make voice calls on this device.

Wireless abilities include WiFi, Bluetooth and LTE. The LTE feature let you have internet almost wherever you are, this makes the Microsoft Surface Pro X great for portable work. Physical connectivity comes in the form of 2 USB-C ports a Surface Connect port and the SIM slot. The Surface Dial was is also compatible with this device, but only off-screen.

Battery life for portable devices is an important feature as this affects how much you can use it on the go. The Microsoft Surface Pro X  get a good 15 hours in over typical usage, this is quite a decent amount of time for almost any user.

Microsoft Surface Pro X devices are expensive, the build quality is high and the performance is snappy. Unless one has requirements for heavy usage this device could handle most tasks.

The Type Cover which has the keyboard and the Surface Pen come separately, this also adds to the overall cost.
