Display & Design
The Nokia 2.3 smartphone is a widescreen that is 6.2 inches with a good quality IPS LCD panel. The display feels premium and flagship for its cheap price. The image resolution is below the standard 1080 p with only 720 x 1520 pixels paired with 271 PPI pixel density, this means with high-speed internet video streaming can feel clean and bright but not 4K. The aspect ratio is a cinematic 19:9 which makes for an immersive video-watching experience. The 16M colours resolution will be able to show high contrasts and saturated colours. It is available in colours Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal.
Camera
The front camera is a simple single lens 5 MP with average f/2.4 aperture capabilities that could work well in daylight settings without any unwanted choppy pixels. The rear camera has a dual setup with a 13 MP lens paired with a 2 MP sensor lens that together can deliver crisp and bright visuals. The camera features have essential enhancements like the Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus that help capture all your special moments without any difficulty. There are two video recording modes that are able to deliver 1080 p resolution called continuous dynamic shooting and high dynamic range. That extra 2 MP is a depth sensor that creates a depth of field behind subjects or portraits that make photographs look high definition. For night time photography there is an LED flash with an automatic trigger that helps capture moments in low light settings. The face detection helps quickly focus subjects in the frame removing any unwanted blurring.
Processor & Memory
The Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 is based on a 12 nm chipset size and works with a Quad-core clocking in at 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53. It can handle light multitasking, web browsing and low setting video streaming. The limited internal memory of 32 GB will not be able to last very long so it is recommended to expand the memory with a micro SD card. This model, unlike other budget smartphones, has a dedicated micro-sd card slot that can expand the internal memory up to 512 GB. Once the phone has ample memory the 2 GB RAM will be able to perform at optimum capacity without being burdened by applications and active mode multitasking processing. This reliable and long-lasting chipset is paired with the adaptive and fast processing Android 9.0 Pie that is popular in all smartphones even high-end models like Samsung and Realme.
Battery
The 4000 mAh battery will be able to deliver 8-10 hours when actively used for daily tasks, internet and calls. The economy mode is called Adaptive Battery that claims to deliver up to 2 days of uninterrupted battery time.
Connectivity Features
Connectivity features include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Radio and 3 MM audio jack.
