Nokia is one of the most known brands in the world, they have made a come back into the market with Android-based smartphones. The Nokia 3.4 is another such option from them; made with a simple design that is current with the times. The camera bump is a circular one, just above the fingerprint reader.

Nokia 3.4's Internals and OS

The processor powering this device is the Qualcomm SM4250 Snapdragon 460, which is built using the 11nm method and has a clock speed of 1.8GHz. This is closer to an entry-level chipset, it also has the Adreno 610 integrated as the graphics processor. There is 4GB of RAM for tasking and the storage built-in is at 64GB. Storage can be expanded via a microSDXC card.

Nokia has used Android 10 for the OS in the 3.4, this can be upgraded to Android 11. Both these OS's have Machine Learning, this lets the device learn user patterns and reflect an optimized performance.

Cameras

The main camera module has three sensors, the first is a 13MP, the second is a 5MP ultrawide shooter and the third is a 2MP sensor which is for depth sensing. These combined with the camera app, this module has abilities such as continuous shooting, HDR, face detection and more.

For selfies, there is an 8MP sensor that shoots a bit wide so one can easily get group selfies if needed. Both sides can shoot video at 1080p with a frame rate of 30fps.

Display

The Nokia 3.4 is 6.39 inches, which is a decent size for one's smartphone, easy to carry around and enough of a size to enjoy your videos on. It is based on IPS LCD technology that is closer to real viewing, with a resolution of 720 x 1560pixels. This makes it HD and provides a good degree of crispness for your media or games.

Connectivity, Sensors and Battery

There are multiple channels for connectivity in the Nokia 3.4. With WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, Dual SIM and Data. All these combined provide a lot of functionality with the various apps and uses. There is also a physical port that is a USB Type-C reversible connector and one can also connect their headphones through a 3.5mm audio jack.

The important sensors needed to run apps include an accelerometer, a gyro and a proximity sensor. There is also the face unlock feature in case one wants to make use of it.

To power all this there is a 4000mAh battery that is based on Li-Polymer tech. This means it can be made into a slimmer form, keeping the overall device thickness less as well.

The colour options for this device include Charcoal which is a mix of dark grey shades, Dusk which is various shades of purple and Fjord that is made from blue hues. The way Nokia has created shades within these colours makes the device look very cool.

The Nokia 3.4 is in the mid ranges, making it relatively affordable or an ideal choice for first-time buyers who are younger.
