Design & Display

Sporting a metal/glass construction, the OnePlus 7 comes with an anodized aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass on both sides. Much to the dismay of edge-to-edge screen lovers, the phone features a notch, inherited from its predecessor One Plus 6T. The device comes with 6.41 inches Optic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, 402 ppi pixel density, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 85.32 %.

Performance & Platform

Promoting digital detox, the OnePlus 7 has introduced a Zen mode that automatically locks down the phone for 20 minutes, allowing the user to make or receive calls only. OnePlus 7 runs Android 9 Pie that is based on Oxygen Operating System. It uses an Octa-core Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) processor with the Adreno 640 GPU for optimum gaming and movie viewing. The phone has been tweaked up with some performance enhancements such as the RAM boost feature. It utilizes app usage patterns to distribute RAM to heavy apps for faster and smoother loading of games or bulky apps. 

Cameras

The front of the mobile is adorned with a 16 MP selfie camera that has an aperture of f/2.0 and Auto HDR option. You can shoot 1080p videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. The dual-camera setup on the rear houses a 48 MP primary snapper with an aperture of f/1.7. The second shooter is a depth-sensing 5 MP lens with features like Fixed Focus.

Battery & Charging

It is backed by a 3700 mAh battery and supports fast battery charging with a 20W charger. 

RAM & Storage

The internal storage capacity is 128GB which is extendable up to 256 GB. The RAM capacity comes in either 6GB or 8GB while some models with a 12GB of RAM are available in some parts of China.
