Oneplus 7t

OnePlus is a sister brand to Oppo, Vivo and Realme. The parent company goes by BKK Electronics Corporation and is among the largest producers of smartphones in the world.

Their high-end brand OnePlus is about minimal designs and optimum functionality, meaning these are simple devices that are easy to use. The catalogue has in it the OnePlus 7T which is a powerful smartphone.

Design

Similar in design to the OnePlus 7, with a slightly curved back and the waterdrop notch at the top of the screen that has the camera in it. OnePlus says the circular main camera is a nod to the classic cameras. Also perhaps similar in design to some of the old Motorolas and Nokias. The design, as with most OnePlus phones, is neat and simple.

Display

The screen is a step up from the predecessor, at 6.55-inches Full HD based on the AMOLED technology. It is HDR 10+ and has a 90Hz refresh rate, the advantage of these 2 features is more apparent to people who use their smartphones for gaming. The refresh rate makes the screen a lot more smooth, this makes the gaming experience better. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels, coming to 402 pixels per inch. With a screen brightness of 1000 nits, it is a great view even in the sunlight.

Internal build

Featuring the Snapdragon 855 chipset by Qualcomm, it is a slight upgrade from the OnePlus 7. Making the 7T 10 to 15% faster and 15% faster with rendering graphics. The RAM is fixed at 8GB with both the 128GB and 256GB storage. The Snapdragon 855's Adreno 640 for graphics can handle games well. This phone has great specs for taking on any task one may have for it due to the internal specs.

OS

This is the first phone to come with Android 10 to begin with, running the OxygenOS 10.0 on the Google platform. The skin is neat and light with its flow, something customers have come to expect from Android-based phones. OnePlus consistently works on optimizing the scrolling and transitions within the GUI so the experience is as smooth as possible. Android 10 also allows for gesture controls similar to the iOS on Apple. Aside from that, there is also a customization option to make the app icons different shapes. 

The OnePlus 7T is a top tear phone and has all the connectivity options and sensors. With all the high-end features it has, it is surprisingly missing wireless charging, waterproofing and a microSD slot. Despite these few downsides, the phone has generally gotten good reviews. With a high price point to match the high-end user experience delivered by the 7T.
