A name that is known across the world as one of the largest producers of professional audio equipment. Created in 1965 by Hartley Peavey, the brand makes amps, mixers, speakers and many other products. They have a catalogue of over 2000 products and add another 80 to a 100 each year.

The unofficial brand mantra is "In order to be better, by definition you must be different.", a quote by Hartley that has guided Peavey over the years.

The brand's focus is on pro audio, this means catering to people who need serious power for their audio. Peavey speakers are not often found in homes they are either used at commercial spaces or at concerts and other such events. In Pakistan, Peavey speakers were the go-to option for decades before any of the other brands even made it to that level. Today one can find others such as EV, JBL or RCF.

The various lines have different designs and have their own set of features as well. The designs vary with most in a variation of cubes or squares. The colour is black for almost all their speakers, with very few that have white as an option.

Most of the speakers from Peavey are passive, meaning they need to be connected to an amp as a power source.
