One battery running out at an odd time can be the worst. To counter this one can get a power bank, there are many different capacities including a 20,000mAh variant. Depending on what smartphone you use this size can give you a full 6 or 7 charges. A power bank at 20,000mAh would be a little larger and won't be as easy to carry, but it would be ideal for travel so one has multiple charges available to them on the go.
