While some variety of pumpy style shoes is very comfortable to wear, they are still not the best everyday choice of footwear, if you are planning to wear them for long hours. Due to the closed nature of these type of shoes, the feet get constricted, restricting blood flow and can cause serious musculoskeletal issues. Also, over wearing can result in hypertension as well as bone deformities in some people and cause conditions such as painful bunions, hammertoes, swelling, nerve issue and lower back pain.
