Rasasi is based in Dubai and is a family business that was established in 1979. Over the years the catalogue has grown, with many scents to choose from. The Daarej line is a lighter tone of fragrances, with a more western sense to them.

The male version from this line is warm, with amber and spice as the most obvious feels. The top notes are made from cumin, artemisia and cardamom. This goes on to the heart notes that include rose and orris root. The base has the most notes, this is where all the warmth comes from.

At the base, one finds vanilla, tonka bean, amber, musk, sandalwood and patchouli. All these have a great dry drown, especially if you like these deeper tones.

For women, Daarej has a floral and fruity option. At the top of the female version, one finds peach, orange, bergamot and green notes. Giving it a lot of lighter tones to open with. The heart has a lot of floral notes, with heliotrope, orchid, tuberose, lily of the valley and jasmine. These give this perfume its kick. For base notes, there is caramel, vetiver, musk, sandalwood, amber and patchouli.

The women's version with Dareej gets balanced out well with its base notes, cutting through some of the super sweetness from all the floral notes in the middle.
