Realme C25y

Realme is from the same family as Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus. This is a brand that started with making more affordable and simple devices, today it also has a lot of powerful devices on the market. Still producing the budget-friendly options as well, such as the Realme C25Y, a device that is similar to most smartphones in the era as far as design goes.

A feature that is a little underpowered with this device is the processor, a Unisoc T610 that has a quad-core design. It has 2 Cortex A75s that put out 1.8GHz and 6 Cortes A55s that put out 1.8GHz clock speeds as well. It was built using the 12nm method and has the ARM Mali G52 integrated for graphics processing.

These processors are aided by 4GB or RAM for the tasking. This is a good amount of RAM that can take on mid-level gaming and also handle multitasking. Storage is at 64GB and in case you feel the need to add more, there is the option for a microSDXC card slot. 

Running Android 11 with Realme UI R on top, the software on this device is smooth. The Android base has Machine Learning built into it so it can optimise itself to pace up performance. The Realme UI R has a lot more customisations so a users experience is personalised.

Display and camera

A 6.5 inch display means you have ample viewing space, along with the near HD resolution lets you enjoy your media. The brightness is at 450nits, so it has a good amount of light powering the visuals. 

For the main camera, one has a 50MP sensor as the primary, which is quite a high resolution. The other sensors are both 2MP, one for depth sensing and the other is to shoot macro shots. This triple-lens setup allows for Pano, HDR and more modes. Video on the main camera is shot at 1080p. Selfies are handled by the 8MP front camera which can also shoot video, at 720p. 

Other features

The Realme C25Y has all the needed wireless connectivity options, except for NFC. This means you cant use smartphone payment systems that let you use the phone as a credit or debit card at stores, restaurants and other such places. The sensor range has the basic ones that are most commonly used and one even has a fingerprint reader for unlocking that is mounted on the rear.

A microUSB port is used for physical connectivity and a 3.5mm audio jack is present too. 

Powering all this is a 5000mAh battery, which is quite a lot and can easily cover you for the day unless you are making some very heavy usage for extended periods.
