One of the largest tech brands in the world, Samsung is based out of South Korea. AMongtheir successful products Samsung has smartphones, with many lines that fit into multiple price categories. The Samsung G532F is from a lower end price point.

Samsung G532F

Also known as the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Plus, this smartphone is an entry-level device. It is based on the Android OS, version 6 Marshmallow. The processor at the centre of this smartphone is the MediaTek MT6737T, a quad-core processor. For the graphics, there is the Mali T720MP2.

This is combined with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of storage space. The space can be extended by making use of a microSD card.

Camera and display

Built with one main camera which is at 8MP and a selfie camera that is 5MP. Video recording is at 1080p at 30 frames per second. 

The display is a 5 inch one with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It is a PLS TFT panel with capacitive touch-enabled. 

Connectivity, sensors and battery

The Samsung G532F has the ability to connect to the WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Radio and a USB port. It also has the USB On-the-Go feature allowing it to act as a dock for thumb drives. The sensor range is simple with just an accelerometer and a proximity sensor. This smartphone retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.

For the battery, Samsung went with a Lithium-ion cell that has a capacity of 2600mAh. This makes for ample power given this smartphone has simple functions.
