Samsung's A-series comprises of some amazing flagship phones such as the revolutionary A10, the newer A80 and A70, and the latest A50. Increasing the phone's value for money quotient, Samsung introduced the in-display fingerprint sensor in the A50, a distinct feature earlier limited to premium phones only. It also supports fast charging. 

Display & Design

The bezel-less 6.4 inches Super AMOLED Infinity-U display on the Samsung Galaxy A50 gives a Full HD+ 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, a pixel density of 404 ppi and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The U-shaped notch on the front allows a screen-to-body ratio of 91.6%, making it one of those premium quality phones that give the best viewing experiences.  The phone has a unique rear panel with an iridescent coating that reflects the light through the plastic carapace into eye-catching rainbow hues. 

Performance & Platform

The Galaxy A50 runs on Samsung’s new interface, the OneUI, that is based on Android 9.0 Pie. It uses the Exynos 9610 octa-core chipset, comprising of four Cortex-A73 high-powered cores clocked at 2.31GHz and four power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.74GHz. The phone gives average processing speed and gaming performance.

Cameras

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy A50 houses three cameras in a vertical stack with an LED flash below. The tri-camera setup consists of a primary 25MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture for brighter and clearer photos, a second 5MP depth-sensing camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree field of view, like the human eye.

The rear cameras offer features like Panorama and HDR and let you shoot High Definition 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The Scene Optimizer option enhances your photos giving you optimum levels of brightness and saturation. The front selfie camera is a 25 MP, f/2.0, 25mm (wide) snapper that includes the HDR feature and allows for high quality 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.

RAM, Storage & Battery

The A50 comes in 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB storage which can further be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. A50 gives a great battery performance and lasts all day long.
