Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite

Design & Display

Though its frame is made out of aluminium, the back seems plasticky. It is one of those mobiles by Samsung that do not have a curved screen so it doesn't give the coveted bezel-less look. Unlike the Note 10 and 10 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite lacks water resistance. It has a 6.7 inches Super AMOLED touchscreen that is an always-on display with a 1080p resolution. Though the display is clear and bright, it is actually a downgrade from a true QHD screen. Its in-display fingerprint scanner is not as fast and accurate as of the rivalling phones but is not bad either. In all, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is an affordable option to include the S Pen Stylus as well as other premium features, though the S Pen lacks certain gestures that were offered with the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Another downer is the lack of stereo speakers and the phone has only a single down-firing speaker. The sound output is okayish but for this price range, it is not as strong as it would've been with stereo speakers. Thankfully the Galaxy Note 10 Lite includes an audio jack which gives out crisp and loud sound quality through headphones.

Performance & Gaming

Disappointingly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite uses the old Exynos 9810 chipset form Galaxy Note 9 that was launched in 2018. Though it still is a competitive chipset, one can find better chipsets and faster performances from rivalling phones in this price range. Gamers will be happy with Note 10 Lite as it has good gaming performance.

Cameras & Battery

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a rear triple camera setup all with 12MP sensors. The main camera's performance is great and quite similar to Note 10. Pictures taken from the main camera give fine results, low noise and a lot of detail. The colours are accurate and the dynamic range is great. Phone's telephoto lens takes good shots but they are a bit noisy and not too sharp. Ultrawide phots also carry a lot of detail and a wide dynamic range. The selfie camera performs well too with nice detail. Galaxy Note 10 Lite battery endurance is good but it could have been better within this price bracket. Fast charging is actually fast as the phone gets charged from 0 to 50% in just half an hour. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite lacks wireless charging.
