Skechers the brand

Founded in 1992 by Robert Greenberg, Sketchers was his turn to casual footwear. The initial shoes by Sketchers were utility boots and skate shoes, later the brand expanded into athletic and casual footwear, along with performance shoes.

Over the years Sketchers has promoted their shoes with many different celebrities and athletes. This list includes Demi Lovato, Camilla Cabello and Ringo Starr of the Beatles. 

Skechers shoe range

The brand has a lot of options for different kinds of sneakers. Some are for general wear while others are designed to be sport specific. This is relevant to a few different activities and includes hiking, running, walking, training and golf. They also produce casual sneakers that are often worn by people who are part of the street style movement.

Skechers produces boots similar to the Timberland boots. Other than that they have options for boat shoes, sandals, slip-ons and lace-up Oxfords. These Oxford style shoes are for men and make for ideal casual or semi-casual wear.

There are certain collaborative lines from Skechers, this includes one with Goodyear; the tyre making brand. In this line the soles are made using Goodyear rubber.

Skechers makes shoes for women, men and children. They cater to people who may have wider feet too.
