Launched in September 2019 the Apple Watch Series 5 features an always-on display so you don't have to tap it to turn on the screen. It also comes with an energy-saving LTPO OLED screen and low-power screen driver with refresh rates as low as once per second. Series 5 features a more power-efficient S5 processor, improved ambient sensor and double storage of 32 GB. It is available in a new titanium model which comes in space black and white colours. This watch works with iPhones only.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 

The Active 2 comes in a round OLED screen and comes in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm. It runs on the Titan operating system that is a custom Samsung software that is also present in their TVs. This watch is compatible with both iPhones and Android phones. The bezels around the round watch allow the users to navigate the options by moving their finger around the bezels in a circular motion. It has an always-on OLED screen that has a premium look and is touch-sensitive. Active 2 showcases tons of health features and has a battery that lasts a full day.

These brands of smartwatches are high-end and pretty expensive for the Pakistani consumer market. They include a mobile operating system, mobile apps and support wireless technologies such as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. They also offer a variety of other useful features, like calculator, health-related applications, thermometer, compass, accessing stock and weather updates, maps, cell phone, camera, touchscreen, SD card, GPS navigation and rechargeable battery.

Some smartwatches can also be used as portable media players as they feature FM radio and play digital audio and video files via a Bluetooth headset. Other smartwatch models like the 'watch phones' function like cellular mobiles and are capable of making calls and sending/receiving SMS and email. They serve as a front end for a remote system like smartphones. You can get your social media notifications on your smartwatch too and that makes it very convenient for people who are very active on their social media accounts. Some smartwatches even let you interact with the social media application like Twitter, SnapChat, WhatsApp, Facebook etc.

Your smartwatch can also be your fitness tracker. It can count calories, steps and distance, measure heart rate, pulse rate, sleep and calculate many other metrics that you might need to keep your fitness in check. The waterproof variety of smartwatches is very popular amongst swimmers as it can calculate different metrics without getting damaged by water. A special type of smartwatch has been designed for sailing enthusiasts, that helps them track variables such as speed, wind direction and wind speed.
