Brand Story

Established in 1950 in Faislabad, Kamal Limited is one of the oldest and foremost textile manufacturing houses in Pakistan. It is a vertical operation, with in-house spinning, weaving, processing, printing, finishing and stitching facilities. In a quest to launch its own lawn range, Kamal Limited collaborated with Élan, one of the leading and most innovative fashion labels in Pakistan and launched their first domestic initiative in 2012 with the now critically acclaimed "Kamal lawn by Élan". The quest continued and in 2013 Kamal Limited collaborated with Zara Shahjahan of the brand Coco to launch "Kamal Lawn by Zara Shahjahan". It also collaborated with another notable designer Ayesha Farook Hashwani.

The success of these ventures led to the inception of their flagship store "SO KAMAL" in 2016, which became their first very own retail space. The founder and owner Mrs Erum Kamal launched their premium lawn range with 10 exclusive designs. In a short span of 2 years, So Kamal grew to include stores in Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Multan. To this day, So Kamal continues to cash in on every Pakistani woman’s love affair with lawn, owing to its experience of over half a century and expertise in producing textile products and good quality of their lawn, nice designs and affordability.
