Sudocrem

An antiseptic healing cream that is used for various skin conditions. Sudocrem originally was used for nappy rash, but it can be used for eczema, bedsores, acne, minor burns, surface wounds, sunburns and chilblains.

It contains a water-repellent base with protective and emollient agents; antibacterial and antifungal agents; and a weak anaesthetic. One is to apply a thin layer on the area that needs relief and replenish daily or as recommended by the doctor.

Side Effects, Precautions & Interactions

Sudocrem does not have any known side effects. Some people may have an allergic reaction to an ingredient present in it. Please check the label to see if you are not allergic to any of them. In case there is a reaction please speak to a doctor.

Standing near open flames or smoking can be dangerous as it risks burns. Clothes that have Sudocrem on them will also catch fire faster. There is no known danger of using when pregnant or while breastfeeding. 

This is a topical cream and should be kept away from the eyes, mouth and nose or other mucous membranes. Sudocrem is not known to interact with other medicines, but please inform the doctor if you are taking any other form of medicine before usage.
